Colin M. Johnson

A native of Little Rock, Arkansas, Colin graduated from Catholic High School in 1998. He then attended the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville, where he obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology in 2002. After completing his undergraduate education, Colin attended the University of Arkansas School of Law, where he focused much of his attention on various areas of litigation and trial practice, ultimately competing as a member of the 2007 National Trial Competition traveling trial team. Colin received his Juris Doctor Cum Laude in May of 2007, and joined the firm immediately thereafter. Since joining the firm, Colin has focused his practice in areas of general civil litigation, with a majority of his efforts being spent defending physicians, nurses, hospitals and nursing homes, in medical malpractice lawsuits. In addition to medical malpractice defense, Colin also has experience in handling cases involving general insurance defense, legal malpractice defense, premises liability defense, commercial litigation and contract disputes. Colin has received the highest rating available, AV-Preeminent, by Martindale-Hubbell and also received the W.A. Eldredge, Jr., Award for Outstanding Young Trial Lawyer, 2011-2012, at the annual meeting of the Arkansas Association of Defense Counsel. The award was established in 1990 by Friday, Eldredge & Clark LLP to recognize an outstanding young trial lawyer who best demonstrates exemplary trial conduct, undivided loyalty to clients, courtesy and candor to opposing counsel, respect for trial judges and professional dignity for the administration of justice.
